Aether Rift · Privacy policy
Your game stays on your device.
Aether Rift: Spirit Arena is an arena game for iPhone and iPad by HeyLabs (Vaibhav Singh), called “we” and “us” below. It has no account, no sign-in, no cloud save and no chat. The game plays offline. The only part that uses the internet is advertising, which is provided by Google AdMob.
This policy says what the app keeps, what it sends, and how to delete it. Effective: 14 October 2026.
What stays on your device
These are stored in the app’s own storage on your device. The app does not send them to us or to anyone else:
- The player name you pick.
- The age you enter when you start. It is used only on the device, to choose the right kind of ads (see Children and age below).
- Game progress: stages, stars, essence, shards, unlocked champions and spirits, upgrades, daily rewards and quests.
- Settings such as sound, haptics, screen shake and reduced motion.
If you have Apple’s device backup turned on, this data is part of your normal backup, under your own Apple account. We cannot see it.
Advertising
Aether Rift is free and shows ads: a banner on the home screen, full-screen ads at some breaks, for example after a match, and rewarded ads that you choose to watch for a bonus. The ads are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK in the app may collect:
- The device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
- Your IP address and an approximate location derived from it.
- Device information, such as model, iOS version and language.
- Ad interactions, such as which ads were shown and tapped, and crash and performance data for the ads.
Google processes this data under its own policies: how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not receive your advertising identifier or IP address. AdMob gives us only totals, such as how many ads were shown.
Tracking and consent
- Players 16 and over may see Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, ads still appear but are not personalised with your advertising identifier. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and some US states, the app shows Google’s consent message before any ads are requested. You can change your choice later with “Privacy choices” in the app’s Settings.
Children and age
Aether Rift is rated 12+ on the App Store. When you start, the app asks for your age, and uses it on the device only:
- Under 13: ads are requested as child-directed, limited to general-audience content, and are not personalised. The tracking prompt is never shown.
- 13 to 15: ads are requested with Google’s under-age-of-consent setting, so they are not personalised, and the tracking prompt is never shown.
- 16 and over: the standard settings above apply.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not ask for a real name, email address, phone number, photos, contacts or location. A parent or guardian who has a question can email us.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- The app has no analytics of its own, no sign-in and no in-app purchases.
- We share data only as described under Advertising, or when the law requires it.
Deleting your data
To wipe your progress, tap Reset in the app’s Settings. To remove everything the app stores, delete the app. To reset the advertising identifier used for ads across apps, turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
We do not hold your game data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. For data that Google holds for advertising, see Google’s privacy controls at myaccount.google.com.
Security
Game data stays in the app’s sandboxed storage on your device. Ad requests are sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Changes
