Solace · Terms and conditions
Terms for using Solace.
Solace: Affirmations & Sleep is a free iPhone app by HeyLabs (Vaibhav Singh), called “we” and “us” below. These terms apply when you download or use it. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. Effective: 26 October 2026.
Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Solace on Apple devices that you own or control, for private, non-commercial use, as allowed by the App Store’s usage rules. The app is licensed to you, not sold.
Not medical advice
Solace offers affirmations, sleep sounds, breathing and a supportive chat for everyday wellbeing. It is not a medical device, therapy or a crisis service, and it does not diagnose or treat any condition. Talk to a doctor if you have trouble sleeping for a long time or feel unwell. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
Chat with Solace
The chat uses Apple's on-device model. Its replies are generated automatically, can be wrong, and are not professional advice. Please do not rely on them for medical, legal or financial decisions.
No account
There is no sign-in. Your data is kept on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. If you delete the app and your iCloud data, it cannot be recovered, because we do not hold a copy.
Apple services
Apple Health, Apple Music, Apple Intelligence and iCloud are optional, provided by Apple and controlled by you in iOS Settings. How Solace handles data is described in the Solace privacy policy.
Using the app
Please do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows.
Ownership
The app, its design, sounds, text and artwork belong to HeyLabs or its licensors. Your own entries, such as affirmations, wishes, photos and journal notes, belong to you.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. We work to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be error-free or always available, or that an alarm will always ring. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. The latest version is always on this page, and using the app after a change means you accept it.
