Common questions

How do I play?

Steer with the floating joystick or by swiping. Eat glowing pellets to grow. Make a bigger snake run into your body to take it down. Hold Boost to dash. It burns a little length, and a charged Boost also fires your skin’s ability.

Where is my progress saved?

On your device only. There is no account or cloud save, so progress does not move between devices. It is included in your Apple device backup if you have that turned on.

I deleted the app. Can you restore my progress?

No. We never receive a copy of your progress, so it can only come back from your own device backup.

Do I need the internet?

No. The whole game works offline, and there are no ads.

How do I stop the streak reminder?

Turn off notifications in iOS Settings > Notifications > SnakeNova.

There is no sound.

Check the sound settings in the game, and the volume and silent switch on your device.
