Lumenwall · Privacy policy

Lumenwall collects nothing.

Lumenwall — Quotes and wallpapers is an app for iPhone and Android by HeyLabs (Vaibhav Singh). This policy covers both. It has no account, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs and no tracking. The app makes no network requests of its own; the Android app does not even ask for internet access. Every quote and wallpaper ships inside the app.

What stays on your device

Your favourites, the quotes you write, the quotes you hide, your style settings, the history of recent pairs, and your streak and keepsakes are stored on your device. They leave it only through your own iCloud or Google backup, described below.

iCloud

If you are signed in to iCloud, your favourites and your own quotes sync between your devices through Apple’s iCloud key-value storage. That data lives in your iCloud account. We cannot see it.

Android backup

On Android, the same settings, favourites and quotes of your own are included in Android’s backup if you have backup turned on, so they can be restored on a new phone. That backup lives in your Google account. We cannot see it. You can turn it off in Settings > Google > Backup.

Photos

On iPhone, Lumenwall asks for Photos permission only to save the wallpapers you export, and to keep a “Lumenwall” album of them. On Android, exported wallpapers are saved to Pictures/Lumenwall; storage permission is requested only on Android 9 and older, and your own photos are chosen through the system photo picker. Photos of your own that you choose as backgrounds stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Notifications

The morning and evening reminders are optional and are scheduled locally on your device. On Android the app asks for notification permission only when you turn them on.

Wallpaper

On Android, Lumenwall can set a wallpaper for you when you ask it to. It uses the system’s wallpaper permission for that and nothing else.

Purchases

Lumenwall has nothing to buy inside it today. If that changes, purchases will go through Apple’s In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing, and we will never receive your payment details.

Apple Intelligence

On iPhone, features such as natural quote search and explanations run on your device through Apple’s Foundation Models framework. Nothing is sent to us.

Motion

On iPhone, shake to shuffle is detected on your device and is not recorded.

Sharing

Lumenwall shares something only when you choose Share or Instagram Stories. The system share sheet handles it, on iPhone and on Android.

Children

Lumenwall is not directed at children, and it collects nothing from anyone.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and its data on the device goes with it. To remove its iCloud data, go to Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Storage. On Android, uninstalling the app or choosing Clear storage in its app settings removes the data on the device; backed-up copies are managed under Backup in your Google account.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated. Last updated: 12 October 2026.
